A dad in Pittsburgh made his daughter’s day recently when he worked three jobs and saved up to purchase a dream dress for her 8th grade formal dance.
14-year-old Nevaeha Smith found the dream dress, but it looked to be out of the family's budget. But that didn’t stop her dad, Ricky, from trying to figure out a way to get it.
Ricky worked three jobs and saved up the money over time.
And then, he was able to surprise Nevaeha by unveiling the dress for her at McDonald’s, which happens to be one of the places he works. She got the dress just in time for the dance.
Nevaeha says that she’s grateful for what her dad did for her and appreciates how hard he works.
And Ricky was thrilled for his daughter, who was able to dance the night away in style. (WPXI-TV)
