NEW PIZZA COMPANY USING ROBOTS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

A new pizza restaurant in Mountain View, California, is pushing the limits of robotics and artificial intelligence by having machines replace humans in the kitchen.

Zume Pizza has robots pressing the dough, squirting and spreading sauce -- and then lifting the pizza in and out of the oven.

The system is able to crank out 370 pizzas an hour, which helps the restaurants deliver pizzas to customers in less than 20 minutes.

Zume’s technology is so advanced that it also keeps track of what customers order and predicts the pizzas they might want before they even order it.

And, maybe best of all, Zume is a “no-tipping business,” which means customers get pizzas delivered faster and cheaper. (Business Insider)
