A survey found that women spend $2,327 a year on coffee. Men spent around $1,934. Surprisingly, energy was not the main reason people said they drank coffee. Only 26 percent of survey respondents said the main reason they drink coffee is for energy. 43 percent said they drank it because they like the taste. However, 50 percent of respondents said they felt “moderately productive” after drinking coffee, and 24 percent said they felt “extremely productive” after a cup o’ joe. (The Ladders)
