Throwing a party?

According to a new survey you have exactly 19 minutes to make a good impression. You also have eight minutes to offer someone a drink and 10 minutes to offer your guest something to eat. Oh, and your guests expect you to talk to them within eight minutes of them arriving. And then there’s the social media pressure: 30 percent of Millennials say a party must be Instagram-worthy or shareable on social media to be considered a success.

Some other do’s and don’ts, according to the survey ...

Do:

  • Talk about TV shows/movies and food.
  • Serve food: 68 percent said a party was less successful if there wasn’t food available.

Don’t:

  • Talk about politics or money
  • Ask guests to take their shoes off (SWNS Digital)   Kevin in the Morning!
