FOX is trying to create a Y2K Partridge Family.
The TV network has cut a deal for An American Band, which draws from some elements of the 1970s sitcom, but in a more contemporary setting. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the project revolves around a dysfunctional multi-generational family band.
No word yet on casting, or when the series might debut.
- Since Magnum, MacGuyver and Hawaii Five-O were rebooted and recast, and Will and Grace and Murphy Brown resumed, why not just do a new Partridge Family?
