SANDRA BULLOCK'S HUGE DONATION WILL RESCUE FIRE-DISPLACED PETS

Some very generous donations have been made to first responders and firefighters helping to save people from wildfires in California, but some big money is also coming in to save animals that have been displaced.

The Humane Society of Ventura County was stunned when they received a $100,000 donation from Sandra Bullock.

The actress, who lost two of her dogs recently, was so concerned about the well-being of other animals, that she made the large donation to rescue as many dogs, cats, horses and other animals as possible.

The Humane Society said in a statement, "Sandra Bullock and her family have reached out to other nonprofit organizations both during this incident and in the past. However, this time she wanted to contribute to those on the frontline rescuing animals in peril and hopes others will choose to do the same.”

Bullock's donation will be used to provide long-term care for animals rescue
