According to a new survey by Mattress Firm, the answer is a lot. Believe it or not, their research found that the average American would gladly pay $290 EVERY night – more than $105,000 per year – if it meant a “perfect night” of sleep. That might be because the same survey found that only 36 percent of Americans said they slept very well every night, with the average adult getting just 6 hours and 17 minutes of sleep per night.
