TEEN IGNORES NO TV RULE, ENDS UP SAVING MOM'S LIFE

A Delaware mom should be punishing her 13-year-old son for disobeying her, but instead she's thanking him for saving her life.

13-year-old Damir Carter was told to turn off Netflix and go to bed. But like many kids his age, who allow orders to go in one ear and out the other, he waited for him mom to fall asleep and then stayed up all night watching television -- and it's a good thing he did.

Around 1 a.m., Damir heard some strange noises inside their mobile home and looked down the hallway to see a fire in a tank that houses their three pet bearded dragons.

The quick-thinking teen then ran to wake up his mother and called 911. He then tried to find their cat and five dogs but had to bail out as the home became engulfed in flames. Sadly the cat, four dogs and all three bearded dragon died.

But his mother says she and Damir are alive because he ignored her rule of no TV after 10 p.m. and acted quickly to get them both out of the house. (People)       Kevin in the Morning!
