WE ARE BECOMING A SOBER SOCIETY

Big alcohol companies are worried about the growing numbers of non-drinkers out there – which is hurting sales.

We’re not just talking about “Dry January” here, either. It seems young adults these days are drinking less alcohol overall than the generations that came before them. They are staying away from booze because they are more aware of the negative effects that alcohol causes.

Older generations were ignorant. Young drinkers today are not. So alcohol companies have to figure out how to handle this new situation in the marketplace. ( CNBC )
