Bethenny Frankel’s beloved dog Cookie has passed away. The Real Housewives of New York City star shared the sad news via social media over the weekend. Cookie, who has been featured on Bravo alongside Bethenny since her reality TV debut in 2008, was 17 and died after suffering a series of seizures.
“My @cookiedabooboo is gone. Bless her furry heart,” the Skinny Girl founder, 46, tweeted on Monday, October 30.
Her tweet came after she shared a series of emotional videos on Sunday, sharing with fans that Cookie was dying.
“Do I take her to a vet? … What do I do?” she asked her 1.5 million followers in one panicked video. “My daughter’s watching this and we have to do something. The vet is 40 minutes away. … I’m in a bad place.”
The reality star eventually got the dog to the vet.
“Thanks for the love. @cookiedabooboo … is 17 & did have 108 fever & 45 mins of seizures, but she licked Bryn & reacted to my belly rubs. … I’m grateful. People are loving & caring. Part of me thinks the crap in the world is to bring us closer & make us better. Thank you.”
