Long before he had his own show, Hitman was helping out radio DJs at school dances and station events. That was 1986, and he’s been part of radio ever since, working overnights, nights, middays, and afternoons and moving up to music director, assistant program director, and program director across Top 40, hot AC, classic rock, active rock, and classic hits. The proudest moment of his career? Being named Program Director of the Year by the trade magazine Gavin. On the air, he’s funny and packed with music knowledge.
Raised in Texas, Hitman is a pro wrestling fan who collects rock ’n’ roll memorabilia and makes TikToks in his spare time. He’s dad to Ashlee, and he backs the USO and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. His playlist? Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Bad Omens, and System of a Down. His first concert? Huey Lewis and the News. His can’t-skip song? Disturbed’s “Stupify.” His party trick? Cartoon impressions, including “Shaggy” and “Scooby-Doo.” And his favorite meal is popcorn chicken with mac ’n’ cheese.
