GUNS: Remington Files for Bankruptcy

Remington Arms Company, America's oldest gun manufacturer, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The 200-year-old company, based in North Carolina, cites slumping sales in recent years, heavy debt and lawsuits tied to the Sandy Hook school shooting. Remington says it will continue to operate while it tries to restructure its $950 million debt.
