Simon Cowell hasn't used his cell phone for 10 months. That's one of the interesting revelations in his interview with Britain's Sunday Mail.
The America's Got Talent judge says, "The difference it made was that I became more aware of the people around me and way more focused... It has been so good for my mental health. It's a very strange experience, but it really is good for you and it has absolutely made me happier."
While it's not a complete barometer of his online life, Cowell hasn't tweeted since last June 21st.
Simon says he limits the amount of time his four-year-old son is allowed to spend on his iPad. Instead, he watches TV with Eric -- hoping "to ensure the future of television" by getting kids the boy's age interested in the medium, instead of being lured away by other video products. He finds fault in TV executives' relying on "this 18-34 demographic, I'm more interested in bringing in the very young viewers, like Eric's age, because if you get them watching television, they will hopefully keep watching it."
