Ringo Starr has a new book on the way.
Another Day In The Life by Sir Ringo Starr, to be published this fall by Genesis Publications, is his third book of photographs following 2003's Postcards From the Boys, and Photograph in 2013.
This book contains photos from his many trips, along with such highlights as behind-the-scenes snaps from his acceptance of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and his return to New York's Plaza Hotel, 50 years after The Beatles first came to America.
"I love taking photos of random things, and seeing how they all fit together," says Ringo. "Whether it is at home or on the road, certain things catch my eye – and when I see something that interests me, that’s the emotion of it, and I want to capture it. I am a photographer as well as a musician."
In addition to some of his own anecdotes, there are also contributions from Paul McCartney, his brother-in-law Joe Walsh and others.
Ringo and His All-Starr Band start their European tour tonight in Paris.
