For most people, it’s finding money in your pocket you didn’t know you had and not having to set an alarm for the morning. As part of their “Positively Bluetiful” campaign, the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council asked people what things instantly boosted their moods. Here are the Top 10:

  1. Finding money in your pocket you didn’t know you had -- 58%
  2. Being able to sleep in with no alarm set -- 55%
  3. Lying in bed listening to rain fall outside -- 51%
  4. A small gesture of kindness from somebody in your life -- 49%
  5. Petting a dog -- 48%
  6. Performing a small gesture of kindness for somebody in your life -- 47%
  7. Realizing it’s a beautiful, sunny day -- 46%
  8. Long, hot shower -- 44%
  9. A meaningful, long hug from somebody you love -- 42%
