and now research says too MUCH sleep could be even worse. The study, published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, found that, for adults, sleeping more than 7-8 hours was linked to a higher risk of death. Those who slept 9 hours per night had a 14 percent higher risk of death and it shot up to 30 percent for those sleeping 10-plus hours a night. (The Ladders)
