We’re heading into another weekend of NFL preseason games. While most fans aren’t too geeked up about the preseason, there is a bit of excitement building because the regular season is now less than two weeks away.
Another reason to be excited is a growing trend at NFL stadiums to lower their beer prices.
The Atlanta Falcons led the charge last year by slashing prices on food and drinks -- and now other teams like the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens are following along, offering beer for about five bucks.
Of course, this makes sense. Watching football on TV is so fun and convenient, it’s getting harder to convince fans to come out to the stadium.
By dropping prices, fans have one less reason to stay away. (Food and Wine)
