HERO BUS DRIVER SAVES LOST BABY

A bus driver in Milwaukee is being hailed as a hero after she spotted a baby boy wandering around on the side of the road barefoot and alone.

Irena Ivic was driving her route when she noticed the baby walking on the other side of the street wearing nothing but a diaper and a onesie.

Irena stopped her bus, got out and ran across the street to pick up the child who was freezing. There were no other adults around.

She brought the baby onto the bus and called police. A passenger also helped by taking off her coat to wrap around the cold child. Video taken by a camera on the bus was shared online.

It's believed the boy, who's not even a year old, somehow slipped away from his mother. Police have since returned him to his father. The bus driver, Irena, was honored last Thursday by Milwaukee County Transit. (CBS News)                    Kevin in the Morning!
