Students at Keystone College in Pennsylvania spent a day learning to sew -- and then making sleeping bags to donate to those in need.
It was perfect timing for the charity project as the area has been dealing with snow and cold temperatures.
The students made nearly 20 sleeping bags from recycled fabrics, which were delivered to homeless shelters.
It was a great lesson about the importance of doing good in the community -- and had the added benefit of teaching many students the life lesson of sewing for the first time. ( WNEP-TV )
